April 2025 appointments New tech leader at Transport for NSW Kurt Brissett, 2024 娇色导航of the Year in the CIO50 Awards, has joined construction company Built as Chief Digital and Information Officer. Brissett led the technology team at Transport for NSW for nine years. Jason Tuendemann has replaced him in the role of Group Chief Technology Officer at Transport for NSW. Tuendemann joins from Amazon Web Services, where he worked for the past three years. He previously held technology leadership positions at ViacomCBS and Network 10. Brett Wilson appointed 娇色导航at RACP Brett Wilson has left his position as 娇色导航at Australian Red Cross to join the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as their new technology leader. Wilson has been recognised in the CIO50 for six consecutive years. Before his tenure at Australian Red Cross, Wilson served as 娇色导航at NEX Building Group. Angelo Clayton promoted to Woolworths Group CDTO Woolworths Group has appointed Angelo Clayton as Chief Digital and Technology Officer. Clayton has been with the Australian supermarket retailer since 2017. The appointment follows James Wilson’s departure from the position at the beginning of the year. Wilson has since taken up the Chief Technology Officer role at software delivery tooling company BuildKite. February and March 2025 appointments SA Power Networks names Eva Balan-Vnuk as Chief Digital Officer SA Power Networks has appointed Dr Eva Balan-Vnuk as Chief Digital Officer. She spent seven years as Chief Information Officer for the South Australian Government, where she oversaw the secure delivery of whole-of-government services, including cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and community services. Before that, Balan-Vnuk held senior roles at Microsoft across Europe, Asia, and Australia, including State Director for Microsoft South Australia. Hamilton Island appoints Bruce Nolte as CIO Bruce Nolte has been appointed Chief Information Officer at resort island property group Hamilton Island. He joins from retirement living provider Levande, where he served as 娇色导航for nearly three years, and previously led the technology team at Hungry Jack’s Australia. John Granger joins Healthscope Healthscope has appointed John Granger as Chief Information Officer. After an eight-year stint as 娇色导航at Cleanaway Waste Management Limited, Granger brings deep technology leadership to Australia’s largest private hospital network. Dan Chesterman appointed at Teachers Mutual Bank Teachers Mutual Bank has appointed Dan Chesterman as Chief Information Officer. His background includes technology leadership roles at ASX, Commonwealth Bank’s CommSec & Private Bank, and Accenture, with extensive experience in financial technology consulting. Joe Locandro leads Rimini Street’s global tech strategy Rimini Street has appointed Joe Locandro as Executive Vice President and Global CIO. Previously 娇色导航at Fletcher Building in New Zealand, Locandro has also held executive technology roles at AEMO, Emirates and Cathay Pacific. Rimini Street provides enterprise software support for Oracle, SAP, and VMware platforms. Robert Setina stepping into MLC’s tech leadership Methodist Ladies’ College has named Robert Setina as CIO.
