On 2 July 2025 at 1pm ET , will chair a live discussion sharing unique insights on this important topic. In this live webcast we will share CIO’s brand-new , updated for 2025 and offering unique IT leader insight into cloud computing trends among technology decision-makers, with reaction from industry CIOs and other top IT execs.

In this live 娇色导航Essential Insights conversation, we will cover:

Cost and budgeting for cloud

Our cloud surveys show continued growth in cloud spending year over year. We ask our guests how their organizations budget for cloud services and how cost is impacting their commitment to cloud. How are the managing and controlling costs?

Cloud and AI

We see the top areas for growth in cloud spending are really focused on AI, analytics, and getting more value from your data. We ask our guest experts is this is how their cloud spending is going and what are their top priorities when it comes to new or increased cloud investments.

There are a lot of reasons organizations are looking to the cloud to empower their AI strategies, including scalability, the ability to handle massive data sets, and the portfolio of AI development tools they offer. But we also hear concerns from IT leaders about what AI in the cloud will cost and about the security of data. We ask our guest experts what their strategy is when it comes to developing AI apps in the cloud or locally.

What happened to cloud first?

We once believed that organizations would develop all new applications in the cloud, but today we are seeing some repatriation of apps from the cloud back to the data center. What does the research show and how are our guests’ organizations making decisions around what to develop in the cloud and what to migrate in the cloud?

Multicloud vs hybrid cloud

In the survey, we see that most organizations have either a hybrid cloud architecture (private cloud + one strategic cloud partner) or multicloud architecture (private cloud + multiple cloud partners). What’s been your approach and why?

Cloud and skills

Our survey data suggest that skills issues are an inhibitor – having the right people with the right knowledge to capture the value of AI or cloud or automation or having the right skills for today’s security environment. Our guest experts speak to which skills are most important for their company, and explain how they seek and develop the skills they need.
