
The finalists for the Next ½¿É«µ¼º½Award in this year’s CIO50 Australia have been announced.
This award, now in its second year, recognises rising stars in ICT roles who are on the pathway to senior leadership. The Next ½¿É«µ¼º½winner will be an individual who is exceeding expectations and helping drive innovation through their organisation.
The finalists for the 2024 Next ½¿É«µ¼º½Award are:
- Steve Abbott, general manager infrastructure and services, The Lottery Corporation
- Carrie Hu, head of digital product, New Aim
- Nick Porter, head of IT, Asia Pacific, DLL
- Moet Sela, technology and cloud services manager, Catholic Healthcare
- David Sheffield, deputy CIO, Land Services SA
The inaugural winner of the Next ½¿É«µ¼º½Award in 2023 was Anafrid Bennet, head of technology, security and property at Greater Western Water.
Along with the unveiling of the annual CIO50 List and Next ½¿É«µ¼º½winner, the 2024 CIO50 Awards will also recognise companies in the Team of the Year categories, and a third ½¿É«µ¼º½will be inducted into the CIO50 Hall of Fame.Â
The winners will be unveiled at the on October 17 at the Shangri-La in Sydney.
