Over the last month or so, some major companies have announced new CIOs.   Time will tell whether the large number of moves is fluke or a trend for 2014?  

rejoined PepsiCo as SVP and 娇色导航of Commercial Solutions, Data, and Analytics after a year of being CTO with JCPenney. Previously, Blum was EVP and CTO of Enterprise Solutions for Pepsico and 娇色导航at Abercrombie & Fitch. 

Hosting provider, GoDaddy, hired technology industry veteran as its new EVP and CIO.  Josefsberg, who worked at Microsoft Corp. for over 20 years, most recently served as CTO at ServiceNow. He will also serve as GoDaddy’s Chief Infrastructure Officer, overseeing the company’s international expansion of its global cloud infrastructure and information systems.

Wholesale technology distributor, Ingram Micro Inc., announced the appointment of as EVP and CIO. The 30 year IT leadership veteran replaced Mario Leone, who left the company earlier this year.  Park was most recently VP and 娇色导航for 3M Corporation, and prior to joining 3M in 2008, Park served as SVP and 娇色导航at Select Comfort Corporation since 2006. 

FIS, a provider of banking and payments technology, announced as the new CIO. Previously, Geleadi comes from Capco, FIS’ global business and technology consultancy. He joined Capco in 2004 serving numerous leadership roles, including head of India and Canada operations, VP of Online Channels, and Head of Technology Shard Services with TD Financial Group. 

General Electric veteran, , joined Under Armour Inc. as its CIO. Gates replaced Jody Giles, who was promoted to SVP of Product Integration and Commercialization.  Previously, Gates held four 娇色导航roles during his 13-year tenure at GE, including 娇色导航of GE Lighting, 娇色导航of GE Energy, and 娇色导航of Shared Services for GE Energy. 

Rose Hauser has been appointed SVP and 娇色导航of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. Hauser will be a member of WellCare’s senior management team and will report to Dave Gallitano, chairman of the board and CEO. Most recently in the past two years, Hauser served as VP and 娇色导航for FariPoint Communications, a telecom and broadband provider. Prior, she was SVP and 娇色导航of Hawaiian Telecom and was VP of Systems for Freddie Mac. 

Symantec Corp. announced that , former SVP of IT Communication and Collaboration at Cisco, has become the company’s CIO. Jordan will report to Symantec COO, Stephen Gillett. Jordan joins Symantec after nine years with Cisco, where she was responsible for delivering and integrating key IT services for Cisco’s global workforce. 

IHS Inc. announced that joined the company as SVP and CIO.  Settle comes to IHS from BMC Software and prior to that served as the 娇色导航of five Fortune 500 companies, including Visa International, Arrow Electronics, Corporate Express, Occidental Petroleum and ARCO.  

joined Black & Veatch as 娇色导航and SVP to lead its IT operations. Kieny previously was Vice President and Global Innovation Director for MWH Global, Inc. Kieny replaces former 娇色导航Brad Vaughan, who retired after 39 years of service.

Glatfelter Insurance Group, an all-lines, full-service insurance broker, announced the promotion of Larissa Tosch to VP and CIO. Tosch has been with the company since 1999 and has worked through positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Director of Applications. She replaces retiring 娇色导航Wayne Umland, who held the position for 16 years.
