Align Technology seems to have a revolving door for CIOs. The maker of orthodontic devices announced last week that it had hired a new CIO, Sunny Azadeh. Azadeh is the company’s third 娇色导航in about two years. In December 2005, the company hired to succeed Cecilia Claudio, who had left earlier that year to take a job with Mercury Interactive, in the 娇色导航role. The constant in this equation? He joined Electric Insurance Company as its chief information officer and vice president of information technology on October 1. At GE, Stumpek most recently served as global leader for enterprise architecture and new product introductions. The Six Sigma Black Belt also served as CTO with GE Commercial Finance and GE Plastics. Stumpek joined GE in 1993 as an IT project leader. promoted its vice president of application development, Andrew Haines, to chief information officer today. Business process outsourcing services provider Access Worldwide promoted its chief information officer to chief operating officer. J. Ted Jordan replaced Georges Andre in the COO role on October 10. Andre resigned “to pursue other professional opportunities,” according to a corporate press release. Jordon has worked for Access Worldwide for 10 years. He held the 娇色导航role since April 2002 and previously served as senior vice president of ITIS for the company’s TelAc Teleservices division. Jordon joined the company in 1997 when it acquired Jordon Computer Specialists, a software development and computer consulting company he founded. Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) hired Benjamin Williams as its SVP and CIO. Working out of CHW’s corporate office in Phoenix, Ariz., Williams will oversee the ongoing rollout of the hospital’s electronic health record and computerized physician order entry systems and manage a department with 1,000 professionals. He previously served as SVP of information services and chief information officer at St. Joseph Health System in Orange, Calif. Williams held similar positions with Horizon/CMS Healthcare in Albuquerque, NM and at Continental Medical Systems in Mechanicsburg, Pa. A certified public account, Williams began his career with Ernst & Young. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
