Plus: Chrysler puts its 娇色导航Jan Bertsch in charge of treasury operations, and Avon 娇色导航Harriet Edelman joins Ariba’s board of directors.

Patricia (Patty) Morrison has left Motorola. Her last day was August 1. She had served as the mobile phone company’s 娇色导航since 2005. Last December, I wondered how long Morrison would remain with Motorola given all the management changes the company was undergoing as a result of ongoing business challenges. Morrison currently serves on SPSS Commerce’s board of directors. , an eight-year veteran of Motorola, has replaced Morrison in the SVP and 娇色导航post. Jones most recently served as vice president of IT for Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Solutions and Home & Networks Mobility segments.

Chrysler 娇色导航Jan Bertsch is assuming responsibility for the auto-maker’s global treasury operations. She will maintain the 娇色导航title and responsibilities in her new role. Bertsch is leading the effort to consolidate IT management and treasury into a new structure. Bertsch was appointed SVP, treasurer and 娇色导航yesterday. She joined the Chrysler in 2001 and previously (before being named 娇色导航when Sue Unger retired) served as its vice president of sales and marketing finance.

Ariba elected Harriet Edelman to its board of directors on July 31. Edelman is the former SVP and 娇色导航of Avon. During her 25-year career with the cosmetics company Edelman held a variety of executive roles with domestic and international responsibility in marketing, supply chain management, sales, customer service and planning. Earlier this year, she was appointed to the board of Brinker International, which operates casual restaurants.

Northwest Airlines‘ 娇色导航Theresa Wise will become 娇色导航of the new Delta Airlines that is being formed through Delta’s merger with Northwest Airlines. (When the acquisition is complete, Northwest will become an operating subsidiary of Delta.) Last I knew, Shirley Bridges was 娇色导航of Delta, so it appears she may have gotten the short end of the M&A stick. For information on how companies decide which executives will stay and which will go during a merger, read After the Merger: Who’s In and Who’s Out.

Ash Banerjee voluntarily left his post as 娇色导航of EMI Music to join the law firm Wilmer Hale as its CIO. In April, EMI Music hired Google 娇色导航Douglas Merrill to serve as president of its digital business division.

Convergys hired Jim Goetz as its 娇色导航last month. Goetz reports to Earl Shanks, CFO of the Cincinatti, Ohio-based provider of customer relationship management solutions. Goetz most recently served as 娇色导航of the ServiceMaster Company. Previously, he worked for IBM Global Services, Ameritech and Nolan, Norton & Co. Goetz earned a degree in math from Wheaton College. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mike Carper joined Dick’s Sporting Goods as the

$4 billion retailer’s vice president of IT infrastructure and security. He held a similar position with his last employer, Coldwater Creek, and previously with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
